The NJ Nationals "Select" program is open to U13 - U14 players and is offered as an advanced supplemental program to the most talented players in our partner clubs. Players in the Select program MUST play for one of our partner clubs as their primary team (Berkeley Heights, Bridgewater, Clark, Hillsborough, Legacy, Madison, Scotch Plains or Summit).

Players are identified by team coaches at our partner clubs and invited to tryout to play as part of the NJ Nationals Select teams.

The Select program consists of the following yearly commitment:

- Weekly, scheduled training sessions over the course of the year
- This starts in late August and runs to late May (~35 sessions over the fall, winter and spring seasons)
- Weekly, scheduled EDP USYS Conference League games over the fall and spring seasons
- This is ~16 games total between fall and spring seasons

The training and league game schedule is planned in advance to not conflict with primary team commitments; players are able to participate in both the NJ Nationals Select program and their main club commitments.
